When you open a Greer State Bank personal checking account*, we will automatically provide you with an overdraft limit of $500. If you overdraw your account, Greer State Bank will cover your checks up to a combined total of $500. All you pay for this privilege is the Greer State Bank standard fee ($38) for each item that overdraws your account. Transactions for which a fee may be imposed include checks, in-person withdrawals, ATM withdrawals, and other electronic transactions.

As an alternative to our overdraft privilege service, Greer State Bank offers automatic transfers from your Greer State Bank savings account or line of credit. These transfers cover items clearing your checking account, giving you peace of mind and saving you the hassle of a returned check. All you pay for this service is $10 per transfer.
