eBonus Checking is a free interest-bearing account that combines convenience with a generous rate of return.  You can open and manage your account online or visit one of our branch locations for assistance.

eBonus Checking is available for personal accounts only.  

To qualify for this account, you must agree to:

• receive your monthly statement electronically through our Online Banking system (e-Statement); and
• make a minimum initial deposit of $100.

To qualify for the premium rates associated with this account,  you must:

• authorize an automatic deposit or withdrawal on this account by direct deposit or ACH;
• complete a minimum of ten (10) Visa Check Card transactions during each statement cycle (ATM transactions excluded);
• enroll for Online Banking, remain active by accessing the system at least one time each six month calendar period, and retain a valid email address.

If the above requirements are not met, your entire account balance will earn our standard competitive checking account rate for that statement period.

Premium rates are paid on a split-rate system.  The first $25,000 is paid the highest premium rate for this account and balances over $25,000 are paid the lower premium rate.

Rates are variable and subject to change.

With e-Statements, you may request up to two paper statements per calendar year and a fee will apply.

In order to qualify for the premium rates, you must meet the account requirements before the end of the statement cycle.  The statement cycle for this account is based on a calendar month.  Since you may not have sufficient time to meet the account requirements during your first partial month statement cycle, this period will be considered a grace period and your account will earn the premium rate of interest.  This grace period applies to new accounts only.
